Executive Producer Ken Denison explains the filming process to an eager Nashville audience.
In mid-January, two enthusiastic audiences were treated to the unique experience of seeing a live theatrical play captured for film.
Following weeks of planning, three days of set ups, staging, close-ups, as well as a multi-camera shoot before a live audience, Fellowship for Performing Arts’ nationwide hit – C.S. Lewis On Stage: Further Up & Further In – was captured for video and streaming.
The objective was to absorb as much of the impact of a live performance for the intimacy of in-home viewing. The anticipated release date is June 2024.
“The video version of Further Up & Further In will be a fantastic addition to the play’s script and the free downloadable discussion guide by C. S. Lewis scholar Devin Brown,” Max said. “Both the script and the guide are available immediately on our website.”
