Max McLean

Max McLean is an award-winning actor and founder and artistic director of New York City-based Fellowship for Performing Arts.

Max adapted for the stage The Screwtape Letters, C.S. Lewis Onstage: The Most Reluctant Convert, The Great Divorce, Genesis and Mark’s Gospel. His recent writing and producing credits include Martin Luther on Trial.

As an actor, he created the roles of Screwtape in New York, on national tour and in London; C.S. Lewis in The Most Reluctant Convert on national tour and in an extended 15-week run in New York; Mark in Mark’s Gospel; and Storyteller in Genesis. Max received the Jeff Award—Chicago theatre’s highest honor—for his performance of Mark’s Gospel.

He has been nominated for four awards from the Audio Publishers Association for his narration of The Listener’s Bible. His creative work has been cited with distinction by the New York Times, Washington Post, Boston Globe, Chicago Tribune, Wall Street Journal and CNN to name a few media outlets.

Finding Faith

Finding Faith is the vocal/guitar duo and songwriting team of Andrew Tierney and Tim Dunfield. From two opposite corners of the globe - Australia and Canada, from two vastly different career paths - pop star come Las Vegas-residency headliner and Christian worship pastor, Andrew and Tim met in Las Vegas and found a great friendship, a unique creative connection and a deep passion for writings songs of worship together. J. Mark McVey

J. Mark McVey made his Broadway debut as Jean Valjean in Les Miserables and is the first American to perform Valjean in London's West End. He has played the role more than 3,200 times. Broadway and tour credits include The Who's Tommy, The Best Little Whore House Goes Public, Show Boat (directed by Harold Prince) and Rocket Boys, to name a few. He made his Carnegie Hall Debut with the late Maestro Marvin Hamlisch and continues to perform with symphonies around the world.

Melanie Penn

Melanie Penn is a Manhattan singer/songwriter, writing pop songs at the crossroads of faith and culture. Her first album, Wake Up Love (2010), was met with unexpected critical acclaim. The Immanuel project, Melanie’s songwriting journey through the Christmas story, was called a songwriting tour de force by Christian and mainstream press. It reached No. 1 on Amazon’s Christian, Worship and Holiday Download charts. Melanie has served as a worship leader at Redeemer Presbyterian Church under the leadership of Tim Keller. She has been called “a New York songwriter in the age of skepticism.” She is working on her 5th album, More Alive.

Stephen & Juliette Trafton

Stephen Trafton has appeared on Broadway in Les Misérables (Original Revival Cast) and with the National Tour of The Phantom of the Opera. Regional credits include leading roles in Oklahoma!, Bye Bye Birdie, Love's Labour's Lost, Romeo & Juliet, Beauty and the Beast among many others. Trained at Baldwin-Wallace College, he serves as worship and arts director at University Presbyterian Church in Orlando. Previously, he served as the West Side youth director at Redeemer Presbyterian in NYC under the leadership of Tim Keller, and before that with Max McLean at FPA. He performs Living Letters at venues across the country.

Juliette Trafton starred as Luisa in the longest-running musical in the world, The Fantasticks, directed by Tom Jones in NYC. She performed as Christine Daae in the National Tour of The Phantom of the Opera. Prominent regional roles include Guys and Dolls, Into the Woods, Jane Eyre, Peter Pan and Kiss Me, Kate. As a commercial artist you can follow her work on national television. Juliette recently completed improve studies at the Upright Citizens Brigade. She loves nothing more than performing with her husband, Stephen, all over the country. Their finest productions yet are their three children, Tadd, Audra and Jude.

Amy Shreve

Amy Shreve is a Florida native. Amy began composing music and lyrics in high school. She attended Wheaton College and majored in music and was introduced to the harp and continued to practice and learn that instrument. Moving to Nashville after graduation, Amy wrote harp instrumentals, landing a two-record deal with Sparrow Records. Jazz Is magazine reviewed her first work as the best harp recording they had ever heard. Amy and her husband and daughter tour and perform extensively nationally and internationally.

Robert May

Robert May is a New York singer and composer with performance experience ranging from Off Broadway in The Trial of Martin Luther in 2016 to performing his original songs at Lincoln Center. Most recently, Robert arranged and sang traditional spirituals with the New York City Ballet for the Met’s MetLiveArts series. He is active in the professional choral scene in New York and as a composer and arranger. When not singing or composing, you can find him studying ancient Hebrew or walking in Riverside Park with his wife and son.

Robbie Simpson

Robbie Simpson is thrilled to work with FPA again after playing Adam in Paradise Lost Off Broadway. Additional New York credits include with The Mint, Gingold Group/ Project Shaw and original cast of Afterglow at The Davenport Theater. Regional credits include The Old Globe, Syracuse Stage, Repertory Theater of St. Louis, Shakespeare Theater of New Jersey, Berkshire Theater Festival among others. Television credits include AMC’s Dietland, Hulu’s The Path, SYFY’s Horror Movie. BFA from Syracuse University and an MFA from the University of San Diego. Marina Shay

Marina Shay’s (Della) favorite credits include Shakespeare in Love (Cleveland Play House), Miss Bennet (Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park), Great Expectations (Syracuse Stage), Queen (Geva Theater), Pride and Prejudice (Virginia Stage), The Miracle Worker and Twelfth Night (Alabama Shakespeare Festival), Ivanov (Trinity Rep). Marina has worked, trained and collaborated with The Guthrie, The Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Shakespeare and Company, Columbia University. She holds a BA in Theater and English with a concentration in Shakespeare from Oberlin College and an MFA in Acting from Brown/Trinity Rep.

Christa Scott-Reed

Christa Scott-Reed is a director and actor and also serves as the Literary Manager for Fellowship for Performing Arts. Her onstage New York directing credits for FPA include Shadowlands, A Man for All Seasons and The Great Divorce. Her online directing credits for FPA include the virtual presentations of Martin Luther on Trial and The Great Divorce. As an actor, Christa has performed in 50+ theatre productions, including Broadway, Off-Broadway, and Regional Theatre, as well as in film and on TV.
