Campus Initiative: Using Performing Arts to Spark Conversations About Life, Faith and Truth

Fellowship for Performing Arts’ Campus Initiative brings FPA’s national hit productions, as well as The Most Reluctant Convert film, to major colleges and universities across the nation at NO COST to the university. Partnering with campus ministries, the CI uses the performing arts to spark thoughtful conversations about life, faith and truth—creating space for students to ask honest questions and continue the conversation within the campus community.

Recent Campus Initiative productions feature C.S. Lewis On Stage: The Most Reluctant Convert and C.S. Lewis On Stage: Further Up & Further In. Performed by award-winning actor Max McLean, these productions invite students into Lewis’ intellectual and spiritual world through powerful storytelling and live dialogue. Campuses have also enthusiastically hosted The Screwtape Letters, Lewis’ sharp, imaginative exploration of temptation and truth, as well as screenings of the internationally acclaimed film adaptation of The Most Reluctant Convert—each production sparking thoughtful engagement, packed houses and vibrant post-show conversations.

Student tickets are $15 or less (regularly $65-$95) and are underwritten by FPA donors.

Whitney Bahr is the Campus Initiative Manager with FPA. Shaped by her time with Reformed University Fellowship and The Navigators, she went on to work in full-time campus ministry before bringing her passion for students and the arts together. Today, she partners with campuses nationwide to use theatre as a catalyst for truth-filled conversations and spiritual transformation.
