Privacy Policy

Fellowship for Performing Arts is committed to your privacy because we’re committed to our privacy. We appreciate that you’ve trusted us with personal information and we treat it as if it were our own. By this we mean that Fellowship for Performing Arts does not sell, rent, lease, or give away personal information such as e-mail address, phone number, name, home address, etc.. Your information will only be used for internal Fellowship for the Performing Arts purposes.

If you feel that this company is not abiding by its posted privacy policy, you should first contact us by e-mail at [email protected].

Information Collection and Use

We do not sell, share, or rent your information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. Fellowship for Performing Arts collects information from our users at several different points on our Web site.

Donations

We request information from the donor on our donor form. Here a user must provide contact information (like name and billing address) and financial information (like credit card number & expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and to fill customer’s orders. If we have trouble processing a donation, this contact information is used to get in touch with the user.

Cookies

A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user’s hard drive containing information about the user. A cookie is used to remember your log-in number when you revisit our site. If a user rejects the cookie, they may still use our site. Cookies can also enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance the experience on our site. When visitors come to your site, third parties (such as AdRoll) may place cookies on their browsers for targeted advertising purposes. Instructions on how to opt out of receiving targeted advertising.

Log Files

We use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track user’s movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.

Links

This Web site contains links to other sites. Please be aware that we (Fellowship for the Performing Arts) are not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of each and every web site that collects personally identifiable information. This privacy statement applies solely to information collected by Fellowship for the Performing Arts.

Newsletters

If a user wishes to subscribe to our newsletter or daily e-mail service, we ask for contact information such as name and e-mail address.

Surveys

From time-to-time our site requests information from users via surveys. Participation in these surveys is completely voluntary and the user therefore has a choice whether or not to disclose this information. Information requested may include contact information (such as name and shipping address), and demographic information (such as zip code, age level). Survey information will be used for purposes of monitoring or improving the use and satisfaction of this ministry.

Security

This Web site takes every precaution to protect our users’ information. When users submit sensitive information via the Web site, your information is protected both on-line and off-line.

When our donor form asks users to enter sensitive information (such as credit card number), that information is encrypted and is protected with the best encryption software in the industry – SSL. While on a secure page, such as our donor form, the lock icon on the bottom of Web browsers such as Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Internet Explorer becomes locked, as opposed to un-locked, or open, when you are just ‘surfing’.

While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information on-line, we also do everything in our power to protect user-information off-line. All of our users’ information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices. Only people who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, our billing clerk or a customer service representative) are granted access to personally identifiable information. Furthermore, ALL employees are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices. Anytime new policies are added, our employees are notified and/or reminded about the importance we place on privacy, and what they can do to ensure our customers’ information is protected. Finally, the servers that we store personally identifiable information on are kept in a secure environment, behind a locked cage.

If you have any questions about the security at our Web site, you can send an e-mail to [email protected].

Correction/Updating Personal Information

If a user’s personally identifiable information changes (such as your zip code), we will endeavor to provide a way to correct, update or remove that user’s personal data provided to us. This can usually be done at the member information page or by e-mailing our Customer Support or calling (212) 582-2920.
